Per HUP’s shared governance bylaws, all clinical nurses in good standing are eligible to serve as members of core councils, and membership is mutually agreed upon by the nurse, their direct supervisor, and specific council requirements. NECC members serve 2-year terms with an option to extend for 1 additional year.
