We ensure patients are as comfortable as possible by providing warm blankets, administering oxygen, and creating a calm environment. Our anesthesia team does an excellent job, so most general surgery patients experience little to no pain. I wholeheartedly recommend PACU nursing, especially in a same-day surgery setting.
