The Association of American Medical Colleges talks about a shortfall of 139,000 physicians by the year 2033. My focus is advanced practice providers, which are nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs). The data is clear, and to me, it's shocking. We’re going to have to find a way to take care of people.
